Stadtwaldgarten in Cologne

Super tasty tapas, steaks and salads, not to forget the wines. All at reasonable prices. Especially in the Corona time to pick up. Also tastes great at home.

Here is a brief (if possible) feedback on the Stadtwaldgarten: We have visited the Stadtwaldgarten every year since 2018 and would like to share the good experiences (culinary + service) here. - a very tasty and well-prepared tapas selection - We noticed the service from the team particularly positively -> all questions about the tapas were answered without a problem (unfortunately this is not a matter of course these days) -> very fast and attentive service (the team was simply on the ball every time we visited) We live in the west of Cologne and don't want to go to the city center for delicious taps. For this reason we (luckily) discovered the Stadtwaldgarten in 2018. The result is a clear recommendation (price / performance / service) and therefore 5 stars!

I visited the Stadtwaldgarten with a friend as an alternative to the playa. The last time I was here was more than ten years ago. Outside and inside you can sit comfortably in a nice atmosphere. Up to now rather unspectacular but I don't know any other location where the staff is so incredibly friendly and attentive as here and that applies to everyone here. Respect and appreciation !!! Tapas are served. Actually, we wanted to have a drink and chat a bit, but after a few tapas there was a second round. Delicious, all the usual tapas are available and we thought they were all very, very tasty, including bread and aioli. Great ! The tapas are between 4 and 6 euros in the upper price segment, but there must be something to complain about. I would like e.g. if there was a quantity discount (from ten tapas each 4 euros). Afterwards there was a tunnel on the house and we made our way home happy, full and in peace. Hence full five stars! By the way, the Knobloch flag the next morning was subtle ? and well tolerated by my fellow human beings. We will definitely be back.

Totally great tapas :-) Family-friendly, beautiful location. With nice, attentive service. Gladly again. The only downer, parking is a bit tricky, but easy to get to by train.

Fine Spanish tapas in Cologne's secret lanes Delicious tapas. Of course, these are not your typical ponchos or tapas. But these are delicious snacks. Intense taste, perfectly matched combinations. The service is attentive and unobtrusive. Highly recommended! Great again After several years in various properties, the original team is back and oversees the quality of food and hospitality. Great steak and tapas, palatable vines and an outstanding beer garden remind us of the good old days. Only the bar equipment for a nearby club's two-week soccer game breaks the big picture - some room for improvement. Great place for dinner. It was delicious Perfect food, great service and everything was delicious. The next time I visit the colony, I will visit the statdwaldgarten again! big I'm not a big tapas fan but this place is great. Everything is fresh and of good quality. Very good selection of tapas.

Incredibly good ? When I think of the delicious food, I get hungry again. Super tasty tapas. An amazing steak. The service was very nice. The drinks came very, very quickly and the food was not long in coming.

The food was delicious, it went super fast (which was maybe because we were there shortly before the kitchen closes) and the staff is extremely friendly. I felt very comfortable there. I can only recommend.

Not without good reason one of the top addresses in Cologne for years. Great food, very nice atmosphere and the staff is always friendly and helpful even during the greatest stress (full terrace and sudden rain shower).

Very tasty tapas at moderate prices. The zucchini with sheep's cheese is a very noteworthy tip. The location is nice and the service very friendly. What more do you want? :)

Nice Spanish restaurant. Eating is ok, everything is a bit too greasy for me personally. Otherwise the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. All in all, the Stadtwaldgarten didn't convince us, so unfortunately we won't be back. All the best!

We had dinner here for the first time today and were very pleasantly surprised! Very tasty tapas, the rump steak was on point and melted right on the tongue. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambience cozy rustic, Spanish music discreetly in the background! It was a very beautiful evening!

Great place for dinner with friends or even with family! There is a play section for kids so feel free to bring along kids if you want to. We had tapas, a wide variety of them and also a good bottle of Italian red wine! Very delicious food and great service. Not to mention their unforgettable art!

the company took us there for the official christmas party, we had a buffet. i think everybody were happy at the end.
